Just curious: are you really a Magdebuerger (better than a Hamburger on an English thread) or are you from Danmark
if I’m not mistaken, quite a few Danes are called Lars
(and probably quite a few Norvegians and Swedes too)
not to mention Germans

Didn’t realize that; In Holland you occasionally meet a Lars, but it’s considered to be a typical Scandinavian name

I’m born in Hannover, so I’m not a natural born Magdeburger. I’m a Lars because my parents think, that it’ll work with my familyname. That’s Johansen. But it is not scandinavian, just Mecklenburgian.

Johansen is a very typical Danish surname and Lars is a typical Danish first name … In fact I had a class mate in school named Lars Johansen 
Johansen (son of Johan) certainly means you must have a Scandinavian ancestry.
