Back again to bump up the LVC thread in a much more official manner than I usually do!! :sparkles:

I got the chance to officially narrate one of the two LVC books out there!

Most of you has already had to listen to me talk about Lee here on the forum way too much  but if you’re not already completely done with my ramblings, I’ll link the digital audiobook and physical CD down below if you’re curious!

Disclaimer: This book is written in American English, filled with Spanish locations and Italian names…none of them being my native tongue :'3 Please go easy on me

I was by no means the perfect option for this project ^^
But I really didn’t wanna decline the opportunity in the pursuit of perfection.

Hopefully my love and knowledge for the the subject matter makes a difference and shines through
It was for me such a fun thing to be a part of regardless :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

P.S this forum is actually mentioned in the book :'3 proud moment :1st_place_medal:

Thank you! :sob:

Absolutely awesome! You say others might be a better choice but I would disagree. It would have been hard to find anyone whose heart would have been more invested into it than yours.

Wow, amazing! How do you land a gig like that? Not that I could do it, in any language, haha. I bet it’s kinda hard and time consuming work, too.

Great to see someone’s got the job who thoroughly deserves it!

Congratulation, Jen… :champagne: It must have made your day to be able to perform such a task - a pleasure for you rather than a chore…

Only fitting that our LVC expert get to do this…it’s akin to God narrating a Bible audiobook…

It would be super cool if the answer to this question was~
Oh the publisher reached out to me and said:
:sparkles:ā€œThou hast been chosen!!ā€ :sparkles:
xD
But that is not at all what happened :joy:
It was merely me wanting to have this book as an audiobook to listen to while I walk my dog Joe.
So I was the one that reached out to the publisher and asked if there were any audiobook plans in the making.
The answer was No, there was no plans to make an audiobook…so I just shamelessly served myself up on a platter :'>
so after an audiotest I got the green light by the Author, book publisher and the audiobook publisher and got to do it

But yes it was a much more lengthy and consuming work than the length of the book itself, like it’s two hours long, but it definitely took more than 2 hours to finish the audiobook :'3
