great, but please double check for typos before you hit the submit button. the preview button helps. also, browsers like firefox have a built-in spellchecker.
also you didn’t get the headlines right and you should sign your opinion, else nobody knows who’s opinion it is.
but thanks for the input, just giving you some feedback.
a great movie.

Found another page that should be deleted:

Text on the countries of production page states: ‘This Category lists which country produced each western. also includes co-productions’. If do then italian/spanish co production should be included in category Italy and category Spain. This makes this page uselss

I call the 1952 Zorro film THE DREAM OF ZORRO which is an alternate English title.

I agree, hadn’t checked the database for some time and it’s really a wealth of information now, good work.

But please keep the plot descriptions short and simple, and don’t give away the ending! Keep this in mind when writing reviews also. Even for well-known films, because there could be people who are new to this genre and haven’t seen many films yet.

Btw, wouldn’t it be better to publish reviews in the forum than in the database?

Personally I think the database should only contain information, not opinions!

Keep up the good work! Will try to do some work myself also :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit. I mean film reviews by members of course, not DVD reviews.

I know it’s a boring job to do but database has lots of actors, directors etc with unfinished filmographies.

Any in particular Bill? I’m happy to do it.

OK. I’m on it.

I added some missing spanish dvd releases to database. Lots of good films released there but alas, no english options.

Added more directors with their filmographies:

I set up a new page for Edda Dell’Orso.

Now we need a list of all SW scores she contributed to!

Also I wonder if it would be ok to edit some of the plot descriptions for various films, I think they are far too long and contain spoliers!

yeah of course. maybe we can agree on a guideline of how many words for plot summary on the film’s main sites. and then we can have a story subpage with a spoiler warning where we can post more detailed story texts

Tried to add some information to the database but i was unable to. I got this message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Namespace::iscontent() in /var/www/web15/html/includes/Title.php on line 2549
:frowning:

Same thing happened to me ??? :-[

I also had problems, pity now that I got started working at the wiki again!

damn, sorry fellas. i’ll try to fix that somehow
seems like the update wasn’t as flawless as I thought it was

Another little snag; the text on the Recent Changes page is much more bigger than normally. Not a big thing but it looks a little distractive.

all fixed now (i think)
let me know if there’s more. I’m currently on a role here and looking to fix all my wiki problems. some day i’ll have to update the skin though
 but that’s a different story
