I’ll Die for Vengeance / Sapevano solo uccidere (Tanio Boccia, 1968)

here’s a remastered version on YouTube

I updated this movie’s page in our database. Improvements and additions are much welcome.

Copied from the Spagvemberfest 2023 thread:

Contrary to the review I actually think it is Boccias best western. Sorry but all the other 3 of his westerns are mostly just boring and this one is fun.

It is filled with ideas that make it interesting. Kirk Morris is cool in the lead and there is always something happening.

There is also a cameo by Gordon Mitchell who is just awesome here. And it is all also surprisingly nicely shot with a style. The sets are perfect, the costumes are nice, the girls are beautiful. You can stop the movie pretty much anywhere and there will be something visually appealing. 4/5

Credits page has been created for Sapevano solo uccidere (I’ll die for Vengeance)

Stumbled upon that, as I was looking for David Lynch’s show Hotel Room. Ordered the 2 as well as Lynch’s On the Air sitcom.

not even a DVD exists of this, where do these bootleggers have HD material from? let us know how the quality is

Yes, will do

I saw a tweet a few days ago with a download link for it. I believe the tweet said the only release it ever got was a very limited Japanese laserdisc - but don’t quote me on that as I can’t fully remember.

They carry stuff sourced from laserdisc, so it wouldn’t surprise if that was their source.

Can’t find any LD Googleing this
Who can help?

This title has been available for 4 years in HD on Grjngo westerns

… so maybe not such a mystery?

could be what they’re using. But… where do they have it from?

Oh sorry admin, I meant to reply to Bad Lieutenant in regards to Hotel Room having a laserdisc release, not I’ll Die for Vengeance. Sorry for the confusion!

This feels like going over old ground … as I remember a similar thread here from a few years ago - At that time ( not sure when) I had found online a distributor with many Euro westerns available in a variety of languages … There were a lot of titles then that had no official release on DVD or Blu Ray.

As I say, can’t remember exactly when this was posted, but it was concerning the output of ‘Grjngo Westerns’ on Youtube and whether or not the films they uploaded were legit or bootleg.
