Saw this behind the counter or my local CEX, couldn’t resist. Watched the black and white version of it this morning and it looked awesome!
A few new Blurays…
One of my favourite Westerns of all time…
‘King Kong’, 1976 style… I’ve always liked this version, although it’s not a patch on the 1933 original.
I just bought Arrows limited edition 4K of one of my favourite movies with an extended cut (30 extra minutes) that I’ve never seen before.
I have just pre-ordered ‘The Curse of Frankenstein’ Bluray from ‘Amazon UK’…due to be released on October 13th…
Hopefully, this edition will be an improvement on the crappy, washed-out BD, that was released a few years ago in the UK…
I’ve got the same Tintin dvd box. I absolutely adore them, I used to binge them as a kid when I had a Tintin obsession.
I’ve just pre-ordered this beautiful Agatha Christie BD boxset from ‘Amazon UK’…due to be released on November 24th.
I love Lost Highway.
I’ve never seen The Man Called Noon…I might have to get that.
Radiance have a flash sale so I bought Planet of the Vampires (Mario Bava) and the 3 Franco Nero 1960s/1970smafia movies Day of The Owl, How to Kill a Judge and another one (that were originally £39 in a box set which had sold out for £24 although SEs.).
I love the stop-motion magic of the legendary Ray Harryhausen, so have just bought this crazy, balls to the wall, nightmarish Bluray…courtesy of special effects genius, Phil Tippett.
I’m not sure what to expect…but judging by the clips on ‘Youtube’, it should be right up my street…
I will have to buy all the HK stuff from arrow. No German label has yet come out with an announcement on golden princess license titles
Looking to get that Curse of Frankenstein myself too one day, actually quite a few of those Hammer sets are on my list. Loved Tintin growing up as a kid, one of my favorites. Was pleasantly surprised to learn as a teen Tintin and his creator Herge were French Belgian after seeing a documentary on the man on PBS. You can never go wrong with some Agatha Christie adaptations in the collection.
