Re - Cross of Iron … I also re-watched it very recently (humble dvd) and enjoyed David Warner’s chain smoking, long haired, about to have nervous breakdown, officer. There’s actually a plethora of fascinating characters in this one, now I come to think of it … not forgetting WWII eye candy, Senta Berger … what a babe!

I have been after ‘Ip Man 4: The Finale’ for ages, so was extremely pleased to buy it for a reasonable price today…
Never seen it, but looking forward to it immensely, as I’m a fan not only of the ‘Ip Man’ legend, but also of Donnie Yen. I’ve heard good things about part four…

I have been waiting for this to come down in price before I pre-ordered it and it finally went on sale for $79.00 on the U.S. Amazon and the wife had enough reward dollars stocked up from her various “cash back” apps that I got it for $10.00.

That’s right! I took all her reward dollars to feed my addiction and, to make things worse, I don’t even feel bad about it.

I haven’t yet seen any of the ‘Fast and the Furious’ films, so I was very pleased to pick up 1-5 on bluray yesterday, for a mere £0.99…looking forward to watching them with a cold beer.

I was very pleased to buy this BD yesterday for just £1.

The much-anticipated sequel to ‘2001, A Space Odyssey’, I haven’t seen '2010’ (1984) for goodness knows how many years - so many so that the last time was probably on video or TV in a dreadful pan & scan version. I am really looking forward to viewing it in its correct screen ratio, with decent video and audio quality.

Was doing my Christmas shopping today, and decided to pull the trigger on this item I’ve had my eye on for a while

I’ve seen I Am Waiting years ago on the Criterion DVD set Nikkatsu Noir and had a real good time watching it, so I’m curious to see how it’ll look restored on Blu Ray. The Facts of Murder and Witness in the City will be first time viewings I’m excited to dive into.
