New blu-ray:

Upgrade from DVD to blu-ray:

Used one of my Christmas gift cards to snag this Christopher Lee set
I mainly got it for Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace, Challenge of the Devil, Crypt of the Vampire, and the Bonus Disc as I already had The Snake Pit & the Pendulum aka Torture Chamber of Dr. Sadism on a German Mediabook release, and I was disappointed to see that Castle of the Living Dead didn’t have the Italian audio included, but overall I’m glad I got the set.
Some recent acquisitions from some various sources beginning with some crime:
The only film from the Umberto Lenzi/Tomas Milian box set that I didn’t have so that works out well.

A little Sergio Sollima with the great Fabio Testi and the always affable Oliver Reed. ![]()
Some Italian horror:
Classic Lucio Fulci that I wasn’t planning on buying since I already have a different release but a guy I know made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
Plus some Leon Klimovsky that was part of the same offer I couldn’t refuse.
And, finally, some Asian action:

Some Sonny Chiba…

…and some Angela Mao. A pretty cool late Christmas present from the wife’s kid sister.
Nice haul there Amigo, some really cool stuff. I have that edition of Free Hand for a Tough Cop myself, still need to check it out though. That edition of Revolver looks pretty sweet, gonna pick it up eventually too. Paul Naschy was a fine successor to Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolfman (he did offer the part to Chaney originally, but he declined due to his age and health), and an icon who I don’t think is talked about enough like many of his contemporaries. You can never go wrong with Martial Arts style cinema.
I have that edition of Free Hand for a Tough Cop as well. Gonna pick up that Severin box regardless. Paul Naschy is a legend for sure.
Yeah, I tell myself that I won’t buy it now but I am sure that if I have a chance at a deal on it at some point that I won’t be able to resist. ![]()
Some good Blu-ray buys for cheapo prices…
I was very pleased to find a copy of ‘Outland’ on BD for only £1. One of my fav sci-fi films - basically a ‘High Noon’ in space…
Some gory but good horror flics…

Popcorn movies…

New blu-rays:

Pre-ordered (due out in April):

Oh wow. What’s in there
Some very sleezy and saucy Hong Kong exploitation films, all starring Anthony Wong. Right up my alley!

Fancied watching the cartoon I used to like when I was a kid again. Still haven’t watched The Batman yet…will probably watch them at the same time.
