well brace yourself for the third, because that’s downright rude
I think I’ll pass, thank you.
Whatever quirky charms the first movie had, the ‘cultural’ and social class differences, between council estate Jafaken, ‘Eggsy’, innit?’ … and his ultra-posh, uber dapper mentors at ‘Kingsman’, is completely lost in the sequel … it becomes a ridiculous mishmash lead by a charmless central character with a severe identity crisis. The attempts at humour are feeble and obnoxious all at once … the repeated gag about the Scandinavian Princess promising anal sex if he saves the world … strictly for underdeveloped adolescents, of all ages! - Yuk!
agreed, the first had “something”, the rest of the franchise is just horseshit
Glad I only paid a £1 each for the first two ‘Kingsman’…
You’ll certainly enjoy the first one … I’ve watched it 3 or 4 times, the sequel I couldn’t get past the 1st hour - Rarely do you get a follow up that is so bad
Some Black Friday additions:
I’ve been wanting to add this Arrow set for a while but wanted to wait for the right price.
And, of course, a giallo.
A great wild ride of a sequel that blew me away in the theater.
An intense tale of a heist gone astray from director Michael Bay.
Before the MCU, Mexican wrestlers such as Santo, Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras protected the world from villains such as Frankenstein’s monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, Dracula, She-Wolves, black magic women, aliens, head hunters, vampire women, the mafia, evil cowboys, karate experts, demons, zombies, an army of “heel” wrestlers, and La Llorona. Cheaply made but great Saturday afternoon matinee fun.

Some recent wheeling and dealing:
I have come to believe that Luigi Bazzoni (Man, Pride, and Vengeance, The Possessed, and The Fifth Chord) might be the most under appreciated director in Italian cinema. This is an excellent little thriller/mystery with my lone gripe being Florinda Balkan with shorter hair.
Some Jess Franco with the legendary Robert Woods.
And an addition for the Hammer collection that has the added bonus of featuring the beautiful Yutte Stensgaard.
Great films there. The first scene of the The Footprints is so haunting.
Absolutely. It is chilling.
