When I was around 5 or 6. We went to a drive-in. In line with how my family does stuff, we tried to get extra value by catching an extra flick for free. We drove to the next screen & to our surprise it was LHOTL…the stabbing scene. OUCH! Scarred for a while. While reviewing it lately, it was kind of comical, but for it’s day, disturbing! I’m not a huge WG fan either. HBC was pretty sick. Talk about a downbeat ending. Bob was annoying so it’s only fitting that his family was * SPOILER ALERT* killed tragically in front of him & doomed to an eternal Hell on earth in the basement. DOTHD, hell’s yes! You like Horror movies based in archipelago’s, huh ENNIOO.

if that is the case he must love Fulci’s Zombie as well.

Who doesn’t. Well at least after they leave NY. Vet bad representation of American’s. It’s like watching Rumble In The Bronx. Ouch!

Yes, I like Horror films set on islands. Adds to the terror for me.

And yes I like Fulci’s Zombie  .

Don’t get me started on that one…

“oh look it’s the Rocky Mountains!”

“Jackie, the Bronx is on the east coast in NYC”

“I KNOW I KNOW!”

Yes they do - especially King Kong and no I will not say which version I love you probably can figure it out.

Watched Margheriti’s Long Hair of Death this morning and thought posting it here was as good a place as any.

The Queen of gothic horror, Barbara Steele, is always good value and this one also features italian genre movie favourites Gerorge Ardison, Nello Pazzafini and Umberto Raho which is an added bonus. In truth this film is a bit patchy in plot(not sure if the english dubs adds to this problem or not) but the overall mood and look of it is very pleasing and shows Margheriti’s talents off well. He does like a prolonged walk through a creepy passage does our Tony and he gets plenty of opportunity to play that game here.
Good fun.

Good fun.[/quote]i remember seeing this some years ago on Alex Cox’s “Moviedrome” and can’t remember much about it now but remember thinking it wasn’t bad at all.
