I’ve seen a cheap release of this film at Wal-Mart for like $3 but that’s it. I would imagine this DVD would offer a better transfer and heck better everthing
yeah wow I am surprised to see this. I’ll definitely pick it up, and if only to show MGM that the spaghettis sell so they finally release mercenary and navajo joe

He is not all that bad I suppose, but if you let it annoy then…
I am not really a fan of either film really, as I just think they are standard viewing.

Yes, this was the only reason I checked them out really.
To baaaad film, now we can watch an earing Cleef with laughing Palance, but widescreen, right ?

Ok, just got the disc and popped it in for a quick check. Video is 1.85:1 non-anamorphic, but the transfer is at least sharp and clean. Audio is as expected.
It’s the shame that this is a non-anamorphic transfer (and I really did think that studios were past that) but at least it’s only £10 at RRP.

Yes, 1,85:1 is correct.
I heard this edition is still slightly cut 
which could also mean it’s the international theatrical cut, not the original italian version.
what dvds are there to compare it to?
There’s alway VHS-versions. Check this thread on the other board:

The BBFC has three entries of the film all with different running times.

Hopefully it wasn’t Van Cleef or Palance! hat would probably be a GOOD reason to cut it out!! 
No, but as it may have been already mentioned Van Cleef does have a dodgy hair style in this one!
