Superb little SW Seb. Unlike Belle Starr it is definitely one I can watch again and again. Definitely top 10 material for me. I think this one sort of turned me into a Gemma fan.
never been a gemma fan myself, so that will be a tough one. i also didnt like the first ringo… we’ll see.
I think this is way better but who’s to say? Personal taste an all that.
I am probably similar to you with this one… I am not a Gemma fan at all, and I didn’t particularly like the first one much… being that Return has such a huge following, it had a lot working against it on my first viewing (a lot to live up to, combined with my dislike of Gemma) … with that said, I thought it was pretty good. Still doesn’t sit as highly with me as it does with so many, but its definitely one of the better Gemmas I’ve seen and has some really cool scenes… I think it will probably be better on the 2nd viewing, now that it doesn’t have to live up to the hype
Yeah autephex. First time I watched it did not perhaps have so much hype but I was still viewing it critically. Since then I just look forward to an hour and a half of an entertaining romp. It is nice just to put a film in the DVD player and know that it will hit all the right buttons and leave me feeling good.
“Navajo Joe” without english subtitles? It sucks… Subtitles help me when I don’t understand something just from the hearing. Still, I have to buy it

yay, got the OK from koch media… looking forward to reviewing the next batch of releases. i hope my surgery wont ruin that, i hope the dvds are coming a good week afterwards
