I don’t have the Halleluja and the Koch Django box either. The Kinowelt Django box is also missing.
All 3 contain only one film I’m interested in, another one which is quite ok (but not necessarily worth a DVD buy), and a 3rd film which I don’t want as a DVD.
But for now I’m willing to support Koch’s SW collection by also buying some minor films, but certainly not a Fidani (I have my pride).
The Django, then Sollima, then Hallelujah box sets were among the first proper SW buys i made. Overall i didn’t think the prices were too bad for what i was getting. Also i hadn’t seen any of the films from the Django/Hallelujah sets and was pretty curious. Of the single releases, i have Days Of Violence, Death Sentence, I want Him Dead, Massacre At Grand Canyon, Johnny Hamlet, Seven Dollars on The Red, Killer Kid, and Spara Gringo Spara… And since my birthday is coming up, i’ll soon be paying a visit to Amazon.De for more
I also think it’s a better idea to release the films one by one. The Boxes were for fans like we are on the board. Koch Media produces their DVDs mostly for the Market of the German speaking Countries and Spaghetti Western/Western aren’t that business in these markets. I hope they also release the other Sollima Western in their SW Collection.
I want this one … but don’t know how to go about getting it, or what the postage would be … my German is sehr hesslich …
I notice the Sollima boxset goes for 250 euros now so I’m glad i got mine when i did. In fact i remember ordering that thru a german mail order company but I must’ve guessed the German - anyway i got the boxset - but never got a bill! Result … but shhhhh! :-X
I’ve got a German speaking buddy - I’ll have a word - unless any of you good folk can help me out …?
Why not just try ordering… Check what postage and the VAT difference comes to and then just abandon the ordering if it is too much? But hey when the box set is 20 euro you cannot really afford to miss out… It’s not getting any cheaper as you yourself point out.
Yeah these SW releases by Koch aren’t exactly big money makers for the company, so I wouldn’t be surprised by delays. Especially this little known Peter Lee Lawrence western. The only reason why they release so many SW’s is because the guy in charge (Bruckner) happens to be a fan. Otherwise they probably would’n’t release any.
Are you sure it’s postponed? Especially at such a close time to the release. I have it on pre-order and have not been contacted by Amazon.De…and on checking my account it’s still listed to be posted out 5th/6th December… ???
we’ll see. i usually dont hear back from koch, the way their PR lady handles emails is really weird… but it hasn’t been in the press release… and if it was released this week, it would’ve been in that release with the other 2.

Well i hope it hasn’t been cancelled. But as you say, we’ll see. I guess in 3-4 days i’ll know for sure when the order is posted…
