Sorry for the bump on an old and almost empty thread (especially considering I’ve already posted here!) but I rewatched this today because I’ve always had this down as one of my favourites, but also one I barely remember… So wanted to see whether I was being foolish for my original opinion or not while trying to properly compile my top SW list.

I actually really liked it again and thought it was great. I’m surprised it doesn’t get more attention. I assume the lack of attention stems from it having a director and actor that only feature in one SW? With the lead man (Zachary Hatcher) only having this film in his IMDb history.

It’s about as simplistic as you’re going to get when it comes to a revenge story, but there are some fun mind games thrown in at times too. The action wasn’t overly heavy, nor was it sparse, and there were one or two moments that made me smile along the way. The final 15 or so minutes could have been smoother in my opinion, but a solid film overall.

I can’t help but feel this would get more praise and attention if it was directed and lead by people that had more notoriety in genre.

7.5/10.

My review of this movie:

I agree with @Bubz that it’s a good one that deserves more attention.

There are several uploads on You Tube with excellent image quality. They run 78 minutes (Giusti mentions a running time of 81 minutes, so probably there are a few cuts, but they’re very minor.
