I make my primary living as a writer within the Thoroughbred industry though I also have been published a few times in historical periodicals in the ancient past. I live in a small town in Iowa (where you can still ride a horse down Main St. if you wish) and I spend my spare time working on my first historical book and collecting movies - maybe not exciting to most but it keeps me off the streets. Believe it or not, I am happily married to a lovely lady who has willingly surrendered an entire room in our house to indulge my movie compulsion.
