For a Few Dollars More / Per qualche dollaro in più (Sergio Leone, 1965)

Silver… could you show as those pics? I love every pic of Indio… I have cut a lots of him from youtube videos, but these I didn’t have.

God i am going to come across as so thick here…but the layout is different to other forums i have been on. I scanned the images to the computer and put them in photobucket but now can’t figure out how to create the link to them from here!

OH and re; Van Cleef…i guess his look kind of pegged him as a villainous type! But i also think that’s one of the things that made him more effective in a heroic role…

you just said what i wanted to add. Again great cast, that the “ugly” looking Van Cleef is a father figure good guy. Like the cast of Fonda in OUATITW, which is also unexpected as the villain.
And Volonte is great and over the top as the bad guy. Plus it got kinski. for sure have to rewatch it, watched the other dollar films more often.

That’s Kinski for you though. Least amount of time for the maximum fee was his motto.
It’s a pity though. You can’t have too much of him in my opinion.

I guess, at the time, he figured , with his looks, he wouldn’t last too long in the business. How wrong he was. I thought he was great in Nosferatu. I always liked his horror work. Jack the Ripper too.

Yep, another guy pretty much doomed to playing villains and madmen due to the way he looked. Buy hey, Kinski took the ball and ran with it. It’s a shame he didn’t get much more time in FAFDM though…he was so damn creepy! I can never think about that film without that line of his coming to mind; “In 10 minutes you’ll be smoking in hell!” ;D

He started off playing sickos(a child killer in M) and went on to a career of 30+ years. One of my favorite creepy guy actors is Reggie Nalder. You may not know the name, but you’ll never forget the face. His biggest films were The Man who Knew too Much and Mark of the Devil.

OH…the guy from Salem’s Lot? The vampire?

That’s him. What a face! I don’t know if he’s still alive. He looked like he was dead all the time, anyway. lol Him, Henry Silva and James Woods could have a contest for worst complexion.

He’s long dead. And i believe the lower part of his face was burned somehow when he was a young man. Actually, before the acting, he apparently got up to some quite colourful things! I believe he also appeared in at least one porn film… :-X

Hopefully, he wasn’t taking an active part. I’ll have to look him up, see what he was all about.

Try this. He got up to some odd stuff in his early career!
Kinoeye | Interview: Horror actor Reggie Nalder

Try this. He got up to some odd stuff in his early career!
Cool interview. I saw Dracula Sucks, I don’t know if I’d qualify it as hardcore now, compared to whats out there. More of a grindhouse sex romp. The other one I never heard of, but it sounds like he was just there to give it respectability. The classic redeeming social value tag.

OK, hope this works…
