We have quite a few deer where I am and I just enjoyed a nice supper of deer sausage tonight. I’ll be going hunting this fall…
it’s illegal to hunt deer in England.
I live near a Park in the U.K that has quite a few deer in.
They cull the stock every two years or so, and some of the meat is sold to local butchers.
One day I will try some.
Whereabouts is that roughly, i’ve never tried venison
It is a place called DUNHAM PARK which is in CHESHIRE (GREATER MANCHESTER).
I think it may be a bit out your way though, as you live LONDON way as I recall reading, but obviously correct me if I am incorrect.

We have so many deer around here it’s a nuisance at night, not uncommon for people to hit them with their cars.
Excellent meat though, in roasts, steaks or sausage…
