Favourite Demofilo Fidani pseudonym (fake name)?

I had to go with Dick Spitfire, Miles Deem comes a close 2nd.

Ha ha great thread.

Spitfire gets also my vote, but Slim Alone is equally great.

Many of these pseudonyms are new for me, but they are all incredible. Somehow more creative than his screenplays.

Dick Spitfire is of course the most badass, so I’ll go with that one too. Slim Alone sounds cool too though.
Edit: I see great minds think alike, Stanton.

Dick Spitfire is great, but Demos Philos isn’t bad either, it’s dog Greek, meaning People Lover.

Fida is trust, Fidani those who have trust (it could be his real name but a pseudo too); Nedo could be a joke: pedo is a lover of children, so he could express the idea he’s not one of those. I don’t know, maybe he chose it for the sound (its not an actual word), but Italians often create those kind of fantasy words or fantasy names, especially names that refer to sexual abuse. Italians who speak English might discover a hidden meaning in Slim Alone too…

Lucky Dickinson, Dick Spitfire, Slim Alone. Haha they sound a little bit porn star names. I’m most used to Miles Deem though so let’s pick that one.

Same here… Dick Spitfire has to be the most outrageous but Miles Deem is just classic

Miles Deem for me.

Gotta be Dick Spitfire fer me.

the more I think about it, the more I would go for Slim Alone.

Nedo de Fida is also a great one for the Fidler.
Nedo de Fida is also a great one for the Fidler.
where this pseudonym is used? I don’t remember seeing it anywhere.

He did have quite a few. None of his are funny though…

You don’t find Arizona Massachut as goofy as DF’s?

how bout an Italian usin Chinese or female names? I’d say about as odd at the least.

Dick Spitfire ;D!

That’s odd for sure, but what female names did he use?

I’m with Korano on this Silence. The first thing that struck me were the female names. Look at the list. Fidani had a lot of funny psuedonyms but this guy’s list although not being so tongue in cheek is just down right peculiar. Anna Bergman, Donna Audert etc. Weren’t so long ago that women were using male psuedonyms to get published (Brontes et al) and for no apparent reason (well not to me) Joe D’amato is turning it all on its head. Yeah Korano odd.

Didn’t notice those.

Still love your avatar Silence. Bed time for me. Take care … or I will shoot you in the back. Tigrero.

Of course Dick Spitfire.

I’d rather take care then ;).
