Could Someone Give me Advice for Lesser Known Spaghetti Western Gems?

Hello there,

I have been a longtime fan of Spaghetti Westerns; and over the years; I have watched many of the classics like The Good; the Bad; and the Ugly; Once Upon a Time in the West; and A Fistful of Dollars. Recently; I have started to dive deeper into the genre; seeking out some of the lesser-known gems that do not get talked about as often.

Do any of you have recommendations for hidden treasures or more obscure Spaghetti Westerns that are worth checking out? I have heard a bit about films like The Big Gundown and Django Kill but have not seen them yet.

I am open to anything; from grittier; darker Westerns to those with a more offbeat or quirky tone. I also appreciate films with great soundtracks; so if there are any with exceptional scores; feel free to mention those as well.

Also; I have gone through this post; https://forum.spaghetti-western.net/t/what-are-your-unpopular-spaghetti-western-opinions- which definitely helped me out a lot.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and recommendations. It is always exciting to explore more of this incredible genre; and I am sure you all have some fantastic suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your help and assistance. :innocent:

Well, if you haven’t watched The Big Gundown and Django Kill, which are amongst the best known Spags, it would be wise to start with those the majority of SW fans already love.

So maybe you better start to check at first the forum’s Top 100 for those films you don’t know:
