Here’s the exact link: Chrysanthemums for a Bunch of Swine. Category: OST.
I’ve purchased from dvd lady in the past and believe me they’re a bunch of rouge’s…so beware.
Ahh, now I got it.
It is most likely only a CD, a soundtrack, not the film.
And I thought we had a breakthrough.
It’s too bad only the soundtrack cd. I have the choice another title or a refund.
I took awkward hands and everything went very well.
The subtitle file is separately, so I can translate it into German.
Most fascinating spaghetti western ever…wonder where a copy may be…if one even still exists…
I’ll be honest: I hope a copy is never found, and it retains its mythological status forevermore. Let’s face it, if it was a quality movie it would almost certainly have survived in one form or another. It’s probably a load of old shitty bumshit and, if it ever surfaces, we’ll all eagerly watch it only for our beaming faces to turn into rictus death’s head grins by the end. Just like when The Beatles released that cockawful Free as a Bird in the 90s. Everyone was so excited for a new Beatles release after all that time, right up until they heard the f#cking thing.
but, but, we love old shitty bumshit!
Availability has nothing to do with quality my friend!
that is true, else we’d have Sollima’s entire filmography in 4K UltraHD
I dislike your opinion but i respect it…kind of but too harsh.
What I love the most about this mystery is that we know almost nothing about the film, but the main theme is a real banger. Just listen to Raoul absolutely slaying it
If anyone has a copy of this movie then please add a few shots of the main film locations so that I can see where they are and update the movie page🤠
Nobody has it. It’s a lost movie.
This is fascinating!
Has this ever been mentioned by an Italian in the business or a researcher? Has anyone really looked for it on the ground?
‘C’est la vie’ , a UK DVD distributor of some Spaghetti Westerns, had ‘Chrysanthemums’ listed as one of their ‘Coming Soon’ titles … This must have been back in the early 2000s - They did release, ‘Sartana in the Valley of Death’, Aquasanta Joe’, ‘Some Dollars for Django’ and ‘Vengeance Trail’ , but I think that was all.
Presumably the film was available for release at some point ?
That music is not exactly my type but the same composer, Piero Umiliani is represented in just one case on my SW Top list and I love that suggestive theme :
Off topic :
The SW, 22th place, 7/10. Blood River/Ten White Men and One Little Indian (Gianfranco Baldanello) music Piero Umiliani 1974
is a hidden gem IMO which should deserve an uncut Bluray that would probably make it look better to some critics in a broad sense I assume.
With Rosa Nelbi, Fabio Testi, John Ireland, Daniel Martín as the most important characters, and Luis Induni, José Canalejas.
