I don’t see the big deal here, the release looks just fine. Good picture quality and the original audio track for the theatrical cut. I guess there’s some differences in the cuts? Some marginally different scenes? That’s what I got from The Edit Room Floor review.

I’ll definitely be purchasing this edition, mainly just for the 4k presentation.

It’s not a 4K presentation, it’s a BluRay, so it can only be 2k (1920px horizontally), it’s just based on a 4K restoration process (which ideally should’ve made an UHD BluRay possible, but I think these are still a bi too expensive to produce)

Sorry my mistake. I was always under the impression that 4k referred to something else, not pixels size.

But still, they ARE being produced  And if I should bet on a spaghetti western getting a UHD release it would be this one. It has a massive audience. If they can release Savage Pampas on UHD in Germany, I’m sure they can find people buying a real 4K release of GBU there also.

Where can I buy this?

this numbered hardbox isn’t sold on Amazon, you’d have to turn to specialty online stores like DTM etc.

Ofdb.de has it:

If it is this special release you want. There is also a mediabook-release for roughly the same amount of money.

Don’t know what the quality of the transfer is though on these releases.

Here’s the full breakdown:

That’s disappointing, but not disastrous. The worst part is the re-editing of the Tuco henchmen scene.

What is the point in 88’s release of Django Kill?

New Roy Colt and Winchester Jack BluRay (and DVD) cover and details:

I don’t understand that question? It would be the first BluRay release of that film in the UK… enough point

Arrived! Been looking forward to this one.

Give us a shout if it has English options. If not, I will be hysterically angry.

It only seems to have the Italian and German dub and German subtitles.

Dammit

It would be nice to hear from someone who actually have the release though. Koch Media have included ā€˜hidden’ English subs before as far as I remember.

Yes, Koch nearly always included English subs ā€œsecretlyā€. Not mentioned on the sleeve or menu but easily found with your remote.

I can confirm this release includes english audio
