[Blu-ray] Latest and Upcoming Releases šŸ“€

could be anything  but they’re keeping the tension up, will browse in there tomorrow

I think it very unlikely that they will release another SW but let’s see

Why do you think that? Not enough interest in the spags they released? Are they just becoming a grindhouse horror label only?

Interesting, I’ll keep a look out for this.

Ah they release plenty of non-horror but I have a distinct feeling that their spaghetti westerns didn’t sell very well. Like to be proven wrong though.

It’s The Thing

It should top Amazon’s charts, everyone place their pre-orders!

According to this list

it’s not impossible that Arrow Video will also release Roy Colt and Winchester Jack as well as Light the Fuse… Sartana Is Coming.

And tomorrow is the big day. I can only encourage everyone who intends to get it to - if possible - use the SWDb’s Amazon links, there’s no better way to support this website (other than donating a hidden cache full of gold treasure):

Selling an Italian Western - the greatest Italian western, probably - on amazon.it, locked to region A.

A curse on everybody involved in that process. A voodoo curse. I am literally going to Google ā€œvoodoo dancesā€ this evening, see if I can get Kino Lorber’s manufacturing centre to fall into a sinkhole.

Vengeance is one of my favourite spaghetti westerns, so I’ll probably buy the Blu-Ray. However, the colours on the Image Entertainment DVD were much more pleasing to my eyes than Code Red’s original release, so I’m wondering whether the Blu-Ray will actually be worth it.

3 parts. Very interesting read.and comparison clips.

Will we ever see the full 1966 Italian version being released?!

I’ve read two reviews on the Kino GBU blu and neither leaves me feeling like it would be a worthwhile purchase. Too bad but I didn’t have my hopes up.

ah well, you can’t always get it right. I mean who would’ve thought we’d get this some years back?

I don’t think any reviews have mentioned the fact Kino used the botched 1998 DVD cut as their ā€˜Theatrical cut’.
