Yep, that would help. Not necessarily disbelieving the fellow on the blu-ray.com forum but I couldnāt see anything related to Day of Anger on the Arrow website, and theyāve got a āComing Soonā section.
Just really excited by the possibility.

Arrow Films has mentioned it on their FB page so⦠8)
Yes and many of times we first find out about Arrowās planned releases through getting these unexpected postcards in with purchased blu-rays.
EDIT***** Yeah Arrow confirmed they are releasing this on their facebook pageā¦such great news! They will do the best they can to make it a terrific release tooā¦so hold off importing that Japanese release guys, glad I did.
Fantastic news. I would never have seen that since I donāt do Facebook. Day of Anger is the only film in my top ten Spags (and my top 20 westerns generally) that I donāt own on DVD or blu. Itās always been a travesty that a western of that calibre was so hard to get a hold of, especially when itās impossible to pick up a box set that doesnāt include bloody Godās Gun or Django and Sartana are Coming⦠Itās the End (Iāve got a feeling they were both included in my The Sopranos AND my The Wire box sets!).
Hahaha you had me laughing on that one, they were included in your box sets of The Sopranos and The Wire lol
Didnāt know there was a Korean release, have you got a link please, Reza.

Thatās the Japanese release which isnāt supposed to be very good. When you said there was a Korean release I got hopeful, especially as I refuse to buy Arrow products.
Ohā¦sorry ā¦they said me thatās koreanā¦lol
but this release is better than the āthe great silenceāā¦
weāll compare it with Arrow films
Two Pecos films are coming from Wild East on Blu Ray.
Though considering the usual quality on Wild East DVD im not confident theseāll be very good but heres hoping.
Was wondering if WE would transition into BR.
I wonder if they have HD prints of any of their older releases. Would be nice to see some upgraded releases.
Out of all the films to release as your very first blu, My Name is Pecos???
Has WE ever released something that wasnāt a copy of an international DVD or TV recording?
Both Pecos films have been shown in Europe in some MGM channels several times over the last couple of years, maybe even once this year and maybe even in HD.
It would be great if they actually did buy the rights and got a HD master from the rights holders (there might be one out there now since Koch is releasing the films although only on DVD, and I think the Japanese DVD from last year mentions HD remaster) but Iām really skeptical and expect TV recordings on disc.
Yah i havent seen anything from WE that would lead me to believe they have access to masters of anything.
I really hope they dont just put out standard stuff on blu ray because that is super annoying and pointless.
Although i guess it could be good if they started using blu ray for their double features instead of cramming 2 films on one dvd
Yeah, that storage space could be pretty useful. Maybe weāll finally see that Sartana set come out but using a blu-ray or two to hold them all! ;D
lol than the ābox setā would have alot of empty space.
Or it could just be a small box ;D
Japanese 50th anniversary edition, out October.

Hmmm wonder how it will stack up to the DE blu
