Who hasnāt secured their BluRay yet?
Been checking a German blog on Italian genre films getting released lately, but still nothing on those Koch Media announcements. Has anyone heard anything?
Starting 2nd quarter of 2020. A new italo release series with some westerns sprinkled across
Thanks a bunch Admin Sebastian! April feels a long way away, but Iāve waited this long, thisāll be easy to wait out.
Too bad but I honestly didnāt know that they were originally going to release this.
So it will arrive, it will carry all subtitles and more, and also the new bonus feature. It is a BluRay no spaghetti western should miss. Get your pre order in thru indiegogo, it will not arruve on regular shelves
Out now
Wow, I just saw this package on local movie store. Stunning looking release. Expensive though but Iām tempted.
Explosive Media is releasing The Hills Run Red on blu-ray March 12:

Wow! Was only wondering this morning - will Leoneās films get a definitive release in my lifetime. Is it possible theyāll get the transfers, grading, edits and soundtracks right at last?
What a garish design on that
Probably just a box with all the discs as they are already out
But Kino Lober hasnāt released Once Upon a Time in the West or A Fistful of Dynamite.
A UHD-release I would have been on instantly. Had to think twice before I jumped on the Eureka blu-ray release of A Fistful
Of Dynamite so no more of those
Their Fistful of Dynamite has been out since March last year?
Oh Only Once Upon a Time in the West then which is new then? I havenāt been paying enough attention to these Kino Lorber Leone releaes it seems
Yep, itās exactly why I didnāt buy Eurekaās as itās almost the same as Kinoās (and itāll be cut).
Curious about their Once Upon a Time in the West disc though.
Lorber corrected or tried to correct some of the āmistakesā of the MGM versions, maybe they try the same with the Paramount master of OUTW.
Editing out the āRising sceneā would be a good starter, restoring the correct music in the final scene should be feasible too. Restoring the missing 70 sec of the filmās lengthy opening is more tricky, but they could at least use the āScorsese versionā instead of the Paramount one.
Itās sad that Kino never have sufficient knowledge of these films to correct them enough. Meanwhile there are people who think their GBU release is the be all end all.
