I can see that I back in 2009 stated that I had watched over 300 but am sad to say that that number 7 years later has only risen to 342 to be exact. I had a long hiatus where I didn’t watch a single spaghetti western and that accounts for some of it.
Many of the spaghetti westerns I watch to day are re-watchings due to better-looking releases coming out on dvd and thank you God, blu-ray and that is fine but don’t add to the score of course. Plus I tend to watch all different kind of genres so probably maybe only every 20th movie I watch from my collection will be a spaghetti western. It was easier in the old days when I only collected spaghetti westerns
All very true. Also, having now seen most if not quite all of the very best from the genre, when I decide to settle down to a spag it’s a real wrench to select a new title which will almost certainly be below par when I could have been watching one of my favourites.
Well, that is a fairly easy one. You should be proud of course. We should have t-shirts done for us in the 200+ club. Would cause som envious eyes in your town.
