ZORRO: The Sword and the Rose
Zorro Productions, Inc., is proud to announce a partnership with Telemundo and Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) to produce the telenovela Zorro: la Espada y la Rosa (Zorro: The Sword and the Rose) for Telemundo’s US Spanish-language TV network. SPTI has received an initial order of 120 hours.
The story, scripts and show will be developed, written and shot entirely in Spanish. The novela is set in the mid-1800s in Mexico, Spain and California and will be filmed in Colombia.
Patricio Wills and Hugo Leon Ferrer (Decisiones, Pasion de Gavilanes, La Viuda de Blanco, La Tormenta) will executive produce the series. Christian Meier and Paola Rey (Pasion de Gavilanes) will star and RTI Productions (Pasion de Gavilanes, Te Toy a Ensenar a Querer) will handle the physical production.
