Wild East Productions

Their discs usually take years to sell out and the site seems to suck (for example if you search for the Tramplers you find two listings for it, one sold out and one not). Click the links on the bestsellers list on the left side of the site and you can buy both the Tramplers and the And God Said to Cain.

Just watched God Said to Cain and it definitely goes straight in to my top 10 list!

Asked Wild East about blood at sundown & sartana box release. They said that the Blood at Sundown DVD will be released early october. As for the Sartana box, they are still working on it. Wohoo!

Really? Cause I checked Amazon too and it said they were “temporarily out of stock” as well. Eh, I bought a copy from Diabolik DVD, so I’m good I guess.

As for the news, great! I think the Sartana set might be a Christmas special, or at least they’re releasing it like that.

BLOOD AT SUNDOWN / COFFIN FOR THE SHERIFF has been re-instated on Wild East’s coming soon page after a prolonged absence.

I’d expect Blood at Sundown to be a copy of the Japanese disc that was released in May. Just with English audio instead of Italian.

I thought the Japanes disc was of the Blood at Sundown also known as Why Go on Killing?, not the Blood at Sundown also known as One Thousand Dollars On the Black which is what this one is. Confusing I know.

“They” actually released both.

How’s the picture quality on the Japanese disc, Sundance?

They are probably waiting on another pressing from the supplier. At this minute the Kinski double is listed as “sold out”. This may have happened so fast because Kinski is a popular actor even outside of Western genre because of his work with Werner Herzog. They would be silly not to do a second pressing if it sold out so quick, though.

any news for sartana box set??

Nope, still coming soon and slated for a “sometime in 2013” release date.

Seems like the release date for Blood at Sundown is october 15th. As for the Sartana box, it says christmas eve. We’ll see. Gotta get them both!

Christmas Eve…bit late for Santa  .

This is Wild East were talking about, so the Steffen double bill will probably arrive around Xmas time and the Sartana box sometime in February. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, good thing I’ve got a birthday in February!

Looks like they got another double feature coming out this fall:

THOSE DIRTY DOGS/WANTED

No SWs I’m familiar with, but it’s with Garko and Gemma, so they might be worth watching.

Weird combination. Those Dirty Dogs is pretty good with memorable characters and theme song. Wanted is in my opinion one of the lesser films of Gemma but worth watching also.

Still not viewed “Wanted” yet :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t think I’ll buy it. Have both of them on DVD already. Maybe for Wanted, as I have that on a German language only DVD.

Just ordered The Tramplers for $10

Anyone else notice they numbered it wrong? Coffin for the Sheriff is labeled Vol. 46 as well…
