I have always wondered what type/breed of horse that the spaghetti westerns use

I know that Blondie rode off on Angel Eyes’ black Arabian horse, and that’s the extent of my knowledge.

I’m not a horse expert by any means but given the number of spags shot in Spain I’d have guessed that many of the horses in those films were locally sourced Andalusians or Barbs, or cheap crossbreeds of the two.
