What Film Are You Watching Tonight?

The wife is roping me into watching Romancing the Stone tonight! ???

You have my sympathies.

Heck, it’s pretty good. It’s a lot like Raiders of the Lost Ark in some respects, but it has some really neat performences, especially DeVito’s.

What did you think of it? I saw some clips from it and it looked quite good.

“A Bullet For Sandoval” tonight.

Stone isn’t even in it, so you’ll have to romance Turner
Not a thing I’d be looking forward to, since she’s definitely (way) past her prime

Have you seen her in Californication, scherpschutter? Now there’s scary :o

I will be watching “Cimarron” with Glenn Ford directed by Anthony Mann. Its supposed to be Mann’s worst western, but I haven’t seen it for a long time so I will give it a try.

I wouldn’t have picked it to watch but it wasn’t too bad either. I haven’t seen it for many many years.

Now I get to pick the next movie we watch together, heh heh…

No, I had not yet seen it …

I liked it . I didn’t understood all the religious things in it but overall interesting with very good actors/actresses. It’s quite different to Burn after Reading and No Country for Old Men. I watched it with some friends and we had a lot to discuss after it (and drinking some beers!). 8)

IMO not a bad one but more like an epic as the westerns he made in the 50’s.

It’s on TCM tonight, so might watch (some of) it too
I’ve seen it, quite some time ago, and remember that that it was better than I expected, if definitely overlong. It has a bad name, yes, probably mainly because it’s so different from the other (more famous) Manns.
“A Bullet For Sandoval” tonight.
Would that be in honour of Ernest Borgnine’s 93rd birthday?

Going to watch Execution soon. Should be interesting. Israel is not the ideal place to shoot westerns at first thought.

How could anyone who’s seen KID VENGEANCE say that? ;D

The locations in Execution are great as well as the score by Lallo Gori. The rest of the film is ok but nothing outstanding and it’s overlong at the end.

DEADLOCK was shot in Israel aswell, yes i know it’s not a western but it has some western like qualities

Have fun with that one. Is has some SW qualities indeed, as well as some SW actors.
