What are you eating or drinking at the moment?
ENNIOO, a beer, that’s not like you man!!

For me, I’m enjoying a shot of Wild Turkey on ice…
Well you are quite correct Pacificador…not like me at all !

Your Wild Turkey sounds nice though…enjoy!

Ooh yeah. That Wild Turkey is a nice drop.
Unfortunately I’m stuck with a cup of char and a bourbon.

Out of communion wine again. CIDER!

Enjoy Sir!, and will be having a beer myself soon.

Still cider … well it’s not that still - quite fizzy actshhually ;D
Out of communion wine again. CIDER!
A glass of milk and corned beef sandwich with onion …tasty!

A Bacon butty with a glass of juice.

A home made apple and bran muffin and…of course… a nice cup of tea

Goat Curry and washed it down with Pomegranate and Berry Smoothie. Not bad but when it comes to Indian food, I prefer the vegetarian stuff.

Speaking of food. Whenever I watch an SW where there is a food scene, I have a difficult time making out what exactly they are eating, except for the beans in Terence Hill comedies. I’m wondering if the food in SW’s is really what people ate back then.

A glass of lemonade.

A refreshing glass of apple - flavoured drink. ;D

FILTHY RESTAURANTS …(Can Kill And Will Kill) ;D

Whenever I go into a restaurant :’( , which thankfully is not often, I ask the manager:

“I am new here, can I have a look at your kitchens please ?” :o
The manager always starts sweating, turns red, wets his soiled pants and mumbles:
“err ehm well sir are you an inspector or a troublemaker ? ehm err”

My tip for a good evening out meal is STAY AT HOME and COOK YOUR OWN FOOD

My tip is…NEVER look at the kitchens! (anybody ever read George Orwell - Down and Out in Paris and London)

I am having a shot of Jim Beam with a glass of Beck’s for a chaser.

It’s Miller time folks ;D.

Marston’s Pedigree Bitter - cheers y’all.

HACKNEY CURRY HOUSE

Numerous hungry diners who ate at this Hackney Curry House were HOSPITALISED
and put on emergency life support, after some virulent

FOOD POISONING/ SALMONELLA.

Health Inspectors who visited the Curry House kitchens had to wear masks and breathing
equipment as they jumped over/avoided a plague of rabid rats, cockroaches, mice and
slugs ??? ;D :’( There was no proper hand washing facilities and food was stored in
full view of the sun and of the rats/cockroaches/mice/slugs  :o !!
One IT office worker who ate at the curry house after a 10 hour work shift was in a
COMA for 2 weeks and had his stomach pumped by surgeons trying to save his life  About 50 people who ate at the curry house had violent diarrhoea :-
The curry house owners admitted that health hygiene and cooking conditions need
"improvement", nonetheless the health inspectors fined and closed the premises down.
Chefs later admitted that any customer daring to “complain” about the food would get
a NASAL DISCHARGE (or worse ! ???) in their next plate of “food” as punishment.
Full story was in the local/national press in the UK  ;D ???

I hope no forumites are “put off” their food after this factual story

Not at all SD, living in Yorkshire there’s no shortage of fabulous curry-houses and my congregation and I are regulars at many.
But I did hear of one place that equals your own terrible story, plus with the added horror of drugs being involved :o. Involved in money laundering, and as a front for the importation of cheap heroin, a curry house thought it a good idea to sprinkle a little bit of the cheap powder into, and onto the student curries on a Friday night. A two-fold reward, more junkies :P, and addictive curries would result. HOWEVER, it all went wrong on the Saturday lunchtime when a trainee chef reheated the previous night’s remains and dished it up to a young family, complete with the added heroin. After they woke up, the 2 parents were ok - but sadly one of the little girls died! And the other one …
she’s still fast asleep … in a korma.

A curry house with illegal drugs/money laundering/reheated remains is REVOLTING :’(
and I share fully with the pain/misery/sadness of the customers who suffered :’(
Imagine waking up after eating food laced with heroin and the chef’s DROPPINGS :’(
I should point out that at the HACKNEY CURRY HOUSE , they also recycled and
reheated the previous customers LEFT OVERS, but it was “minor” compared to
the other regurgitating horrors I factually described in a totally impartial manner :o.
Clearly as you mention these are 2 particular curry houses that were abominable and
unpalatable, but there may well be some other curry houses where the food is
"quite digestible" ;D.
For my part I am extremely wary/suspicious of ALL restaurants whether poor run down
restaurants or so called 5 star “luxury” restaurants :’(
My policy is BUY YOUR FOOD FRESH / COOK IT YOURSELF and LIVE LONGER

I was joking SD - and there better be some good curry houses out there 'cos after my sermon that’s where I’m off to.
Ginger Beer now.
