What are you eating or drinking at the moment?

Went out on the piss last night, so having a cup of tea.

Strawberry was the pop tart of choice, thanks for asking. Ain’t nothing like a good pop tart…
I agree, sounds pretty weird but it is surprisingly good!!! I don’t know if you have access to Clamato juice in the UK but if you don’t, try just tomato juice and beer. As I said you may be pleasantly surprised.

The beer purists may cringe but I have enjoyed beer in many forms for many years. I have brewed my own beer and experimented with many recipes and I heartily recommend this concoction.

Having said that I am enjoying a beer and Clam whilst we speak. Cheers and here’s to ya :D
I tried it! Strange, but it is not as questionable as it may sound to some. I enjoy a good Clam and Garlic pizza once in a while so I did not necessarily shy away fronm the clam aspect of this concoction. I also like Bloody Marys so the tomato juice & alcohol part was ok with me. It was kind of an ugly color when mixed with beer. Maybe I put in too much Clamato. I confess I only had one then I reverted to just beer.
Pacificador, the funny thing is I could not find a small bottle of Clamato to buy so I had to buy a half-gallon! If you’re in the Bay Area and are looking for refreshement…
Thanks for the the tip, I like trying new stuff.

Thanks for the invite amigo but I likely won’t make it down in time!

Good for you for trying - it’s not everyone’s cup of tea (and I’ll admit it doesn’t look that appealing).

I checked Google for “beer and Clamato” and it’s more common in the States than I would have thought - they even sell premixed cans.

Premixed cans!!! I’m gonna have to Google this myself! That’s astonishing.

I think it’s called “Chelada”.

Anyway just got off work and enjoying a nice cold beer 'n clam right now. YUM!

Just finished eating spaghetti with tomato sauce

Enjoying a couple ounces of Beam…

Just finished corn on the cob.

Me annd the choir-mistress have cracked open the Hostel Alba Rioja ;D - crackin’. It’s good, but it’ll never be as ‘vintage’ as the memories of Almeria - they’ll last a lot longer - so, cheers Yod; cheers Phil; cheers Mark and cheers to our sheriff, Seb.
I raise my glass t’y’all amigos - especially to CC, and to everyone in sw-forum land!! Cheers.

Having a cool one myself.

There sure are a lot of beer drikers in this forum. Maybe that sounds strange to me because I’m younger than you guys.

Dommelsch beer here… and gonna put another spaghetti in the vcr. See you guys tomorrow!

Which movie?

Sipping a few ounces of Wiser’s De Luxe…

I’m interested in this one, i’ll have to check if it’s available anywhere in my country

Mini-gems.
i wanna try a cold beer an’ clam as well. :’(

Do they sell Snappy Tom where you’re at, alko? If so, get your biggest stein/mug/drinking vessel and dump in 1 can of Bud or Coors or whatever beer you might have handy, then add 1 can of Snappy Tom. Walla…we call it red-beer around here. Used to drink that stuff many moons ago back in high school. What goes around, comes around.

Sorry korano, you can’t join in on this beer-drinking talk 'til you’re twenty one. Until then, stick to the spaghettis.

Hey Korano, get your good self over to good ole blighty. They let you drink alcohol in bars and clubs at 18.
