Sparky’s gonna walk me round to the pub for a TT Landlord, or somesuch, to discuss the meaning of it all … more than your cat can do eh Ennioo?
Just finished my morning coffee.
You may thank God on your knees you’re not Belgian
It’s half past 8 in the evening here !

Proud to be Canadian!
Now after a suitable interlude and a few chores done I’m enjoying a beer and Clamato juice. Anyone outside North America ever drink this? I’ve heard it called a “redeye” before too although maybe that’s just beer and tomato juice.
Best bloody hangover drink I’ve ever found…

Wow! That’s quite an interesting cocktail. There might be some folks on here who are unfamiliar with Clamato juice (Clam & Tomato Juice!). Is that your own concoction, a Canadian thing, or am I just unfamiliar with this mix of Beer and Clamato?
That is one of the most unusual things I’ve seen in this thread. Cheers!

Amigo, you have to try it! It may be a western Canadian thing as I have friends from the east coast that haven’t heard of it either.
For the beer purists it may sound horrible but trust me, on a hot day or “the morning after” it is a delicious refreshing drink!
Cheers!

Alright! I’ll try it this weekend and report back. Any particular kind of beer or anything goes?
Thanks!

It needs to be a lager, no dark beers…you’ll want to mix it about 4-6 parts beer to 1 part Clamato (to your taste).
Enjoy!
Clam and Tomato juice?!?
That sounds weird enough as it is without putting it in a perfectly healthy beer!

I agree, sounds pretty weird but it is surprisingly good!!! I don’t know if you have access to Clamato juice in the UK but if you don’t, try just tomato juice and beer. As I said you may be pleasantly surprised.
The beer purists may cringe but I have enjoyed beer in many forms for many years. I have brewed my own beer and experimented with many recipes and I heartily recommend this concoction.
Having said that I am enjoying a beer and Clam whilst we speak. Cheers and here’s to ya

Amigo, I’m THERE. This sounds so strange I can’t wait. I’m trying to imaging what it LOOKs like, let alone what it tastes like!

Yeah, you have to wonder who thought this up. THEN who thought they could SELL it. But it’s a real product that people enjoy.
Just went to the fish and chip shop and the bastards are shut, gone on holiday, i had the taste in my mouth ready for it!
A couple quotes from the Simpsons that fit the topic:
Homer Simpson: Now what do you have to wash that awful taste out of my mouth?
Vendor at the World Trade Center: Mountain Dew or crab juice.
Homer Simpson: Blecch! Ew! Sheesh! I’ll take a crab juice.
Homer Simpson: I’m feeling kind of low, Apu. Got any of that beer that has candy floating in it? You know, Skittlebrau.
Apu: Such a product does not exist, sir. I think you must have dreamed it.
Homer Simpson: Oh … well, then just give me a six-pack and a couple of bags of Skittles.

Hehheee. You are a man after my own heart. I love the Simpsons.
After coming back home for a bit with no dinner, i popped out a while later and went and got a Chinese.
Just finished a turkey and cheese sandwich.
Having a beer.
coffee and a pop tart
I’ve not had a pop tart for ages, what flavour did you consume?
