I have heard that during the filming of a Spaghetti Western (which one I didn’t catch) American cattle were shipped in to rural Italy,and got loose. Now there are herds of them,some which roam free! ;D Is there any truth to the story?

Don’t know. But sounds very unlikely.

So far all cattle in SWs looks like the cattle on my neighbour’s pasture.

If true, thats a fair few potential steaks…cash to be made for the local bandits instead of robbing a bank for a change.
