THINGS ARE GETTING COMPLICATED
that’s a lot of fuss around something very simple.
can’t we work out a nomination and voting system just for in here? something simple? maybe we can come up with a list of 20 films IN NO ORDER? I think that would be easy, and we just run a vote on those we aren’t sure about or where we can’t agree. say, we all agree on 16 films, but 4 we just can’t figure out, so we take 10 films into a poll, and take the best 4 of those 10 to the rest of the 20, and we’re there: 20 of the best SWs. how does that sound?
- OUATITW
- Good, The Bad and The Ugly
- For a Few Dollars More
- Big Gundown
- My Name Is Nobody
- Death Rides a Horse
- Django
- Fistful of Dynamite / Duck You Sucker
- Great Silence
- Face to Face
- Day of Anger
- Keoma
- Forgotten Pistolero
- A Pistol for Ringo
- A Bullet for the General
- Run Man Run
- Navajo Joe
- Four of the Apocalypse
- Django Kill… If You Live Shoot
- Cemetery Without Crosses
Ok. If we want to just determine the best 20 in no particular order, we can do it like Sebastian suggested. You’ll get my list a bit later.

- “Fistful of Dollars”
- “Once upon a time in the West”
- “For a few Dollars more”
Cimitero senza croci anyone?
This is definetely one of the best.
how about we wait one more week (then my exams are over, haha) and then we assess and collect what we have and make a little vote about those 4 or 5 we can’t agree on… then we have something like a top-20 by about february 12 or so…
sounds ok to me.

WTF???
WTF! I didn’t know this was a stumper (La Belva) Klaus Kinski did great job as Crazy johnny the script was a bit weak, the music was great! They had a great idea with the whole sex crazed outlaw theme and still its enjoyable to watch. This was better than alot of crap people put on their lists. Terrance Hill is one of the worst actors. (P.S.) I didn’t bash Cemetary without Crosses because, I fell asleep watching it! I have a feeling you have not viewed too many spaghetti westerns to know what your talking about. When you graduate past all Terrance Hill, Leone, and Corbucci flicks come talk to me. Remember there are 558 Eurowesterns not (12) which you picked and could not even come up with 20. This shows how premature you are in this field.
Ok, ok. But personally I think La Belva is one of the worst spaghetti westerns I’ve seen. Kinksi is great as always and it’s funny to watch him trying to get laid all the time but the rest of this movie just sucks.
By the way, I just watched my 200th spaghetti western this week.
