Viva La Revolucion!

W Django is definitly underrated as Zapata Western!
Il Mercenario is the best by far.

Have always problems to see the Sollima Movies as Zapatas. These are political western but they don’t take place during any Mexican Revolution. There are some talking about the Revolution but you don’t see any Rebells vs. Soldiers Action in these movies.

OK there’s some revolition in Run Man Run, but the others?

Like that you could also say FFOD or FAFDM or any other SW with some Mexicans or peones in it is a revolutionary one, like 90% of them all…

I hate the comedy influence and I have the crappiest DVD the world has ever seen!

OK, mine is crappy too.

Gui la Testa is best by far of Revolution films for its hallucinatory mood, great two great leads, Leones superb directing wrapped in one great epic.
I really havent seen any revolution films that I hated but I would rate Tepepa lower than the others…
Of the ones Ive seen…
Gui la Testa 10/10
Companeros 10/10
A Bullet for the General 10/10
The Mercenary 9/10
Run Man Run 9/10
Tepepa 7/10

How could I forget to mention Duck You Sucker? Great flick at least but I still prefer Companeros.
