I have seen 84 of them.
I’ve checked it. Looks pretty interesting.
I still don’t know enough about Asian cinema.
I guess I think lists like this are so utterly generalized as to be meaningless except as a topic of conversation/arguement. I stopped reading it when I got to Ameile.
I’d like to see Amelie meet the Corleone Family. Now, THAT I’d watch.
The ones I haven’t seen:
- Withnail & I (1987, Bruce Robinson)*
- This Is Spinal Tap (1984, Rob Reiner)*
- Casino (1995, Martin Scorsese)
- Magnolia (1999, Paul Thomas Anderson)
- Almost Famous (2000, Cameron Crowe)*
- Superman: The Movie (1978, Richard Donner)
- Shaun of the Dead (2004, Edgar Wright)*
- American History X (1998, Tony Kaye)
Note: I turned Casino off after about half an hour
I have absolutely no idea what the films marked with an * are about
I have never heard about them, or only vaguely (94)

These are actually some very good films Scherp.
Withnail and I is very funny black comedy about two obnoxious struggling actors. Richard E. Grant is superb.
This is Spinal Tap is the best Rock Documentary spoof ever. On a one to ten scale it is eleven. (a joke you will get when you have seen the film.
Shaun of the Dead is an excellent ZomCom (zombie comedy). In fact probably the film which the term was created for. Funny but also a very effective zombie flick too.
You should see all of these.
Almost Famous is a film build around a biographical story of a more or less famous Rolling Stone music critic (forgot the name) who worked as a roadie for a famous rock group (forgot the name).
Nice film, but Crowe is not a good enough director to make the film really work.
Almost Famous wass a quite good film I think. I haven’t watched the beginning, I turned on the TV when I got to the house for the summer but enjoyed it.
