The Outrage/Martin Ritt/1964

This curiosity is coming out on DVD in the US in February.

I don’t know if it is available in Europe already.
For those who don’t know, it is the OTHER western adaptation of a Kurosawa film done in 1964.

This one is a remake of Kurosawa’s Rashomon.
It stars Paul Newman as a Mexican bandito!

AND

Mr White Comanche himself, William Shatner!!!

I’ve seen it. Not particularly good, but very interesting for the reasons stated above. I’ve been waiting for this to come out on DVD for a long time. ;D

As William Shatner stars I think I will have to purchase :D.

Know that one and I remember I didn’t liked it. Rashomon is one of the movies that shouldn’t be remade.

The German Title is “Carrasco, der Schänder” translated Carrasco, the desecrater … ;D

Do you get a charge out of Shatner Ennio? 'Cause if so, I have some stuff for you…

It’s all about the cheese. Paco. It’s all about the cheese.

Some of his stuff, but part of me was being a bit :D. I find him funny to watch in interviews in real life as does not take himself to serious and is up for a laugh.
