I have watched the first 22 minutes with mostly shooting but the style appealed to me today. It felt promosing maybe because I am myself invovled in a stockmarket war attacking a CEO verbally with my analyses ;-). I will probably see the rest of this tomorrow or so. The Franco de Masi theme and with a rather cool Hilton reminds me closely of Any Gun Can Play (both Castellari related).
Not a deep SW but no real comedy so farā¦
Very strange, I have seen a lot of this SW before somehow on Youtube maybe and knew the āsurpriseā ending before it was revealed ![]()
But why do I not remember the long slow action I watched yesterday ?
Anyhow I think the style is good enough even if the Bluray is of low quality and less visually attractive with all those dark scenes it seems to be more entertaining than my new acquiantance The Hills Run Red (6/10). This one is somewhere in the Any Gun Can Play (6/10) or Poker With Pistols (6/10) space but maybe more simple even if I cannot judge that already regarding the details and logic of the story/script.
Maybe The Hills Run Red looked better but less interesting except for the locationsā¦
Definitely no gem, but might feel better in the future. At least a semi-weak 6/10 and more entertaining than The Hills Run Red but also more monotoneus than Any Gun Can Play.
My wife accepted it as enteratining but maybe not more than that.
The De Masi music is similar to his themes in Ana Gun Can Play and/or Sartana Never Forgives (7/10) maybe some are the same ? Atleast those are much better than the incidental music which is simple horror/thriller like.
