Tombstone
“Winnetou and Shatterhand in the valley of death” - a nice Karl May movie with Lex Barker and Pierre Brice
Finally got Blindman. I thought Tony Anthony was great in this. Ringo was out of place. The women were great too but I don’t really care to see violence directed towards women in general. I make exceptions for women who are gonna kick some ass like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. It’s worth watching but won’t make my top twenty picks.
“God forgives,… i don’t” and “Tempo di massacro”(Django - Sein Gesangbuch war der Colt (Germany) /Massacre Time) both are great SW .I think most of you know them …
Last stand at Saber River. Dull western with Tom Selleck as a Horse farmer that returned from the war and went from texas to pick up his family and back home in Arizona. Here he had a farm that was overtaken and that he wanted back.
A bit predictable and no tension building.
It was on Dutch television, together with American Outlaws. This film was about the early yeas of Jesse james (Colin Farell). How an outlaw can be good. It was more spectacular than Last stand at Saber river but these new westerns do not match a good oldie.
Deaf Smith & Johnny Ears
-Too boring movie. I fell asleep twice during watching it. Fortunately, there was great shoot-out in the end and Nero and Quinn are great actors.
Here we are again, Providence!
-hmm, one of the best comedy westerns I’ve seen, better than the first Providence film in my opinion. Crazy stuff: singing, kung fu-fights, strange inventions…
“Django the Bastard” aka “Stranger’s Gundown” first time to see it
A fantastic SW with strange atmosphere.
Usually i am not fan of Garonne’s movies,to much manierism and bad movie’s cut
so i didn’t expected it was so good even it has great reputation.
Steffen is at his best, and the Vasco Vassil Kojucharov and Elsio Mancuso score is good.
Sando Kid spricht das letzte Halleluja with Peter Lee Lawrence. And right now They call me Halleluja.
il mercenario, gotta love that jack palance ;D
Custer Of The West-with Robert Shaw
catlow-yul bryner “yawn”
Cahill, U.S. Marshall
Navajo Joe
Five men Army
Love the images and Music
Some western comedy this weekend:
Shanghai Noon
Cat Ballou
How To Support Your Local Gunfighter
Again “Texas, addio”. I love it!
“California” with Giuliano Gemma, i never saw a so desesparate movie on the civil war.
A great movie not like the so many and clean TV saga lookalike “Gone with the wind”
Oggi a me…domani a te! (Today we kill, tomorrow we die!)
damn i fell asleep during Tele5’s spaghetti triple feature…
aw. next time then
Chamako was good though
I watched Chamako and Reverend’s Colt on Tele5. Both nice flicks. Right now watching the third of Tele5 Spagwestern night. Fidani’s Adios Companeros (Giu la testa…hombre).
