The Last Western You Watched?

Winchester '73- such a great movie

yes it is

High Plains Drifter

Hands up, dead man -You’re under arrest.
-Regular Peter Lee Lawrence flick. Plot was about bad guys stealing farmers land because of the coming of a railroad (How many films can there be with this same plot?). Good entertainment but the monk was really irritating character.

Giu la testa - great flick!!

THE DESERTER-wow this film surpassed my expectations after finding it at a pawn shop it set around on my shelve unwatched until last night,THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE! check out the cast,i didnt catch the main characters name but here are the rest-WOODY STRODE,CHUCK CONNERS,SLIM PICKENS,RICHARD CRENNA and PATRICK WAYNE.if you can find it its worth watching.

Chisum

REQUIEM FOR GRINGO [DUEL IN THE ECLIPSE]

very bizarre, like DJANGO KILL… or EL TOPO.

ā€œProfessionisti di un massacroā€ (Red blood, yellow gold) with Edd Byrnes and George Hilton. A really good and funny one, with a lot of strange characters. Recommended!

China 9, Liberty 37
-Very good serious western with Fabio Testi and Warren Oates. More American western in style than Italian but that’s no wonder because it’s directed by Monte Hellman. Another legend, Sam Peckinpah, has a small but great supporting role too. Too bad that the version I watched was heavily cut and missing all the famous nude scenes. This one really deserves a good dvd release.

Red River
- everytime I see this movie, I’m amazed at how good it is.

A Gun For 100 Graves

Umberto Lenzi directs Peter Lee Lawrence and John Ireland and the result is very good. He even puts in some strange horror-stuff with a band of crazy lunatics headed by a always giggling Eduardo Fajardo on the loose killing all the people they can find, great stuff !

A good solid SpWe with a great cast, highly recomended.
