A long time ago, why?
i tried to see this for the first time, i read that it has discusting porno and violence in the unrated 156 minutes version
Well to be honest, i didnât care much for the film. As for the sex scenes and violence, itâs not as bad as youâd might think.
I still must have a copy somewhere. Tried to rewatch it a couple of years ago, but I couldnât get through it.
I would love to see a âTinto Brass cutâ, but Iâm guessing that wouldnât really be possible.
If itâs any consolation Tinto Brass new project - in production according to IMDb - is the 3D erotic comedy Who killed Caligula? a.k.a. Chiavatar (chiavare = to fuck) ;D
Iâm sure it will be great. It cannot be otherwise! lol
HAHAHA
Italian Avatar with more fucking and Caligula⌠:

I didnâ know that verb, only scopare.

Smurf porn?
Malcolm Mcdowall is great in Caligula, and also Peter OâToole
Yes, the movie is not entirely hopeless, there are a few good things in it, but as a whole, it doesnât really work.
Did watch the long version of Caligula a long while back, not my kind of film at all.
Not really payed attension to this film before for some unknown reason, but been viewing a few films of the director, so gave it a spin. Excellent stuff indeed.
Havenât seen The Hurt Locker yet, donât know why.
Suppose for me war films are not my first choice of genre to view on the whole.
Le Buone Notizie (1979) by Elio Petri.
Nothing special, but it was a good fun to see this extremely rare flick anyway. I was anticipating something great, but nothing to get excited about. The action flows well, everything is done neatly, but it never achieves the brilliance of previous efforts by Petri, although the ending was splendidly executed. The film remains a good piece of entertainment. It tackles some more serious subjects like a decay of human being due to getting older, but it never becomes as heavy as Todo Modo (1976) - which on the whole is better. Gets weak 6/10
what about john steiner??
Donât remember him
