Babysitter Wanted. student gets a job as a babysitter to pay her way but discovers the kid she is looking after is the son of the devil.ok horror that takes a while getting going and completely changes track half way through. not overly gory apart from one prolonged " Butchery" scene that is gory. film suffers from many cliched moments but is ok undemanding entertainment.
Sunshine Cleaning (with my wife and sister in law). Thatās an hour and a half that would have been better spent elsewhere.
Well, I donāt know your wife and sister in law ā¦
Just watched the trailer, looks like a movie Iāll have to watch with my wife too, saturday night entertainment
What is the idea behind the title?
My Name Is Bruce. has some amusing moments and is harmless enough, there are tons of references to Bruce Campbellās films, tv series, books etc but you have to be a Campbell nut to understand them all.I like him and he seems like a nice guy who can laugh at himself ( iāve read If Chins Could Kill)but donāt count myself a big fan.watchable fun.

It is the name of a cleaning company 2 sisters formā¦I donāt want to tell you more - you should have to suffer as I did.
Just finished watching Kansas City Confidentialā¦not bad late noir with a young LVC.
Took a bunch of DVDs to the cottage I was staying in with the family on holiday last week - in the evenings I caught up with Che Part 1 (Part 2 this week), Kiss of Death (the Forties version, with Victor Mature), some episodes of The Outer Limits and, er, Madagascar. There was a small selection of DVDs in the cottage and one of them was this great (and surprisingly sophisticated and thought-provoking) family flick, which we had to sit through about six times over the course of the week because my son fell in love with it.
Hehe, this is one of the few recent animated movies i have watched more than once, it is fun. The penguins actually have thier own cartoon on Nickelodeon over here, which i occassionally watch with my morning coffee. At 42 i still enjoy a cartoon or two in the morning, if not a serial episode.
Yeah, the penguins stole the show. Loved those guys.
Rashomon, it was my first Akira film.
9/10.
TAKEN. very good action flick with an excellent performance from Liam Neeson.
They should send Neeson to Afghanistan, things would be settled within a few days
Some good scenes in this one, yes, despite the total lack of credibility
Especially liked the scene, early on in the movie, when he has his little girl on the phone: no doubt inspired by horror movies, and a genuine horror scene itself. Great work.
My brother has just lent me Taken today.
It will be over before you think about curry and beer
Will make a change.
To chili and beer ;D?
Yes .
Some good scenes in this one, yes, despite the total lack of credibility
agreed Scherp, itās great while youāre watching but then when itās over you think, now wait a minute, but this is the world of cinema, still a great action film. as Hitchcock said " Real Life is boring".
Che Part 2 - hmm, Iām undecided on this project. As a whole itās earnest, well acted and technically accomplished, but Che remains pretty much an enigma, an ideal more than a flesh and blood personality (especially in Part 2). This certainly isnāt an objective biography, but then again itās not structured that way - more like a fragmented war film with long stretches of political debating.
Valid, then, but with many flaws.
Taking Woodstock
Another fine film by Ang Lee. The Woodstock myth from the back seats and from the verge.
Yes, heās very likable here
Good candidate for our baseball corner, Iād say
Iāve been watching quite a few Italian war movies lately, itās a nice genre
Most of them are a bit more serious and downbeat than 5 for Hell though
I definitely would like to check more out.
I just finished watching Kellyās Heroes. It has been a few years since I have seen it and it is such a fun ride. Eastwood, Savalas, and Sutherland are great in the lead roles while Carol OāConnor is absolutely perfect in the minor role as the battle hungry general. So glad I finally picked it up.
