The Guess a Movie Screenshot Thread

And that the main male protagonist has a certain spaghetti-western title connection which in its turn could lead to the main male protagonist in Bronco Billy !

House of Dark Shadows was set in Maine and the recent remake had a red barracuda…

Very good observed indeed, and it is Dark Shadows (2012) An 8/10 according to me.
The connection I was referring to is One Upon A Time In Mexico (with Depp) -> OUTW - Leone/SW -> Eastwood.

No its your turn Massimo !

Thanks, Runner.

An Italian/Spanish production that I’ve only watched en Espanol.

Welcome back, amigo - is it ‘Yankee’ ?

Thanks, Aldo.

You are a genius. I genuinely thought I would have to post 5 stills till it was guessed.

Nope … I’m an idiot, as now I have to go find another screen capture :grinning:

Here we are … very well known, believe it or not

The older guy looks like either John Marley or Howard Keel; Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid?

Not an American film.

Hmm, I can see the characteristic big mountain Sierra Alhamilla (and a lot more in the foreground but this is a child-friendly forum so I refuse to mention that) which is situated “behind” Tabernas pueblo in the direction seen from this view.

But a lot of non-SWs also have been “rodado” in that (beautiful) part of Almeria, but maybe this clue gives more experienced movie-detective a hint ?

You’re a little bit off with the Geography … but all will be revealed when someone guesses correctly. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Giu La Testa

Directed by some random bloke.

Correct … aka ‘Fistful of Dynamite’, ‘Duck you Sucker’, ‘Once upon a time in the revolution’ etc etc etc

The view is indeed of the Sierra Alhamilla, but from the motorway coming from Granada to Almeria.

PS: Trivia … the shot prior to this when the coach passengers are assembled on the wagon, ready for tipping into the pigpen - The Bishop is wearing rather modern looking black undies, which as you see have disappeared by the time he rolls out of the cart. :grinning:

Yes, but that does not rule out that Sierra Alhamilla is situated “behind” Tabernas Pueblo which I wrote, even if that Pueblo itself probably is situated far to the left, or just outside the left part of the screenshot’s view.(I was referring to the inter-position of the pueblo and sierra)

The EXACT location of the foreground by the way is not easy to find rapidly on Google-maps.

Really !? … please don’t nitpick - I’ve been to the exact spot where this was filmed and it’s about 7 or 8 miles from Tabernas.

Maybe you misunderstood
“which is situated “behind” Tabernas pueblo in the direction seen from this view.”
…beacuse of my Swedish-influated English or something like that

I only primarily meant to define WHICH side of the great Sierra the screenshot was taken from (by relating to the Pueblo Tabernas) , that is, not from the southern side (from which some SW scenes sometimes are shot and showing the mountain from the that side ).

Looks like an old advert for Radio Shack … is it ‘Guns of the Magnificent Seven’ ?
