I haven’t watched any of Denys Arcand’s films… he, he! I was gonna use La grande séduction, but I think this kung-fu/adventure film is a little more recognizable. Or maybe not, hum… .

I just noticed that a French network will be showing this film tomorrow. Is it worthwhile?

Pretty straighforward film, based only on the events there’s no plot apart from that, and only some characters among the hostages have some (very few) deep at all. But apart from that If you like military story, and films that are almost filmed like documentaries , it’s not that bad, they even used Legionaries that participated in the real action in the film. In the end if you like War films not a bad choice, I liked.
