I’ve recovered from my pints yesterday, so may as well go ahead with another film… ![]()
Try this one…
‘Spanish Fly’ (1976) Fairly lame comedy with some fine ladies ![]()
Correct, Aldo. Well done.
I picked ‘Spanish Fly’ up in a charity shop, but never watched it - don’t think I ever will now. ![]()
Back to you, amigo…
If you’ve had a few ‘snifters’ it might be watchable, but it’s not great … and a bit depressing to see such talent as Terry-Thomas and Leslie Philips in a sub par effort.
Anyway, thanks Toscano - Cheers.
A movie with a few ‘past their sell by dates’ actors/leading men … in a post ‘Star Wars’ world, this all looks a bit tired and dated.
Well done, Toscano … back to you amigo.

‘Go for a take’ (1972)
Its not Trial by Combat (1976) (the one in which Peter Cushing gets killed off pre-credits)?
Thank you, Toscano
Here’s another early 1970s British movie … with a lead actor who is probably more famous today than in this period, via major TV roles.
A guess…‘Freelance’ (1970)?
Excellent guess … ‘Freelance’ with Ian McShane … probably more famous since ‘Deadwood’ and various other bits n’ pieces.
Back to you amigo

I have an idea that this could be, ‘The Firechasers’ (1971) … also with Keith Baron, but mostly lovely Anjanette Comer and tosspot, Chad Everett in all the ridiculous duds

Guess Johnny Oro ?
