Have a go at this one…
Bear Island (1979) ?
Slaughter’s Big Rip Off
Very nearly right
First Slaughter film then?
Both blend into each other for me. I remember Black Gunn being much better.
Yep, it’s the first movie with Jim Brown, Stella Stevens, Rip Torn etc
Over to you.
Is it ‘Kelly’s Heroes’ ?
That looks like ‘Rourke’s Drift’ to me, so it must be ‘Zulu’ (1964)
A british movie from early to mid 70s. That is all I could deduce.
Well that’s a start … the young man in all 3 pics is famous for a UK cop drama, the young lady, barely recognizable with her long straight hair wasn’t successful for more than a decade after this her first film role, until she worked on a pair of big budget mini series filmed in the US.

There is little point posting any more screens, but another major clue is about the author of the story, who is one of the top writers from the British ‘Kitchen Sink Drama’ period. Two of his filmed stories are regarded as all time classics …
And featuring Brian Murphy…
It must be “George & Mildred the Movie”
Nice, but incorrect …
The writer is ‘angry young man’ Alan Sillitoe.
So The Ragman’s Daughter?
