Cattle Annie and Little Britches
That’s correct - over to you.
Looks like an early one, judging by the lumberjack check shirt … I’m gonna wild guess 'Bullet and the Flesh (Il piombo e la carne) 1964 ?
That’s the one.
Someone else want to take a turn ? Feel free

Okay, thanks Aldo, I’ll have a go, just to get the thread running again… ![]()
This period piece should be easy enough to work out…
Thanks, Toscano
‘The New World’ (2005) ?
Correct, Aldo. Well done, and back to you. ![]()

Never managed to get through the entire film … will give it another try sometime.
OK … thank you, Toscano.
Well known for it’s Morricone soundtrack.
It’s not Sacco & Vanzetti is it? Never seen it but I have it on my Plex library, been meaning to get round to it.
Nice homage.
Indeed it is … and as @Hired_Peon mentioned, as a small tribute to Giuliano Montaldo, who died yesterday aged 93.
Over to you, Max.
Thanks Aldo, I believe the famous theme from that film was my first exposure to Morricone. It was used in the opening cutscene in Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which is part of my favourite game franchise. The game director is the famous Hideo Kojima who is a well-known movie buff and loves Morricone:
Anyhow, see if you can guess this one:
This is ‘Breakfast on Pluto’ … some of which was filmed just up the street from my place ![]()
It is indeed Aldo. Which parts of the movie were shot near you?
There’s a scene near the end which is set in London, when ‘Kitten’ goes to visit his mother … it’s actually a street in south Belfast, which has some 1920s/30s architecture.
There’s also an Irish connection with ‘Sacco and Vanzetti’ which I forgot to mention … an Italian production, set in the USA, but the street scenes are Dublin. There’s some trivia for ya ![]()
Ok … try this one. It stars an actor famous for being ‘vertically challenged’ ![]()
‘The Big Land’ (Stampeded)?
