The Fighting Fists of Shanghai Joe / Il mio nome è Shangai Joe (Mario Caiano, 1973)

I always burst into laughter when they say (with straight face) “we could hire Pedro the Cannibal”.

I was laughing so much after the first name I missed the second name. And these guys live up to their names as well! Kinski, dressed like a 1930s depression era hobo, picks a different knife for each scalping. Caiano says Kinski was on set for only 2-3 days and it was the only film where he had no problems with the actor. Possibly because he just let him get on with it.

DEAL ALERT: Cauldron is having a flash sale until 9/5. Shanghai Joe Limited Edition set is only $9.99 and the standard edition only $7.99. Other good deals as well, but this is the only spaghetti western.

I got the Wild East disc, I’m assuming the PQ is pretty much the same as that release as it was pretty strong in my opinion(especially for a WE blu).
