Caught this one yesterday. Absolutely loved it. It started off with an Airplane!/Naked Gun level of comedy which lightened up significantly once the two leads had been established, and it’s mostly character-based charm and humor after that.
The actor playing Jaguar had some serious Charlie Day vibes from him, which I totally dug. Only problem is that it was just one movie. I’d come back and follow the misadventures of Shoshena and “Jaguar”, town after town, week after week, sure as I would for Zatoichi or the A-Team.
