Very happy to hear that you both enjoyed the concert - I can guarantee you would have been even more emotionally moved if Ennio had been the one doing the conducting. He was always exemplary during his performances.

Thanks for sharing. The other interesting difference is Django’s final line of dialogue to Alida which more implies a supernatural presence in the Italian dub compared to the English dub.

I will read it but are currently preparing to move and have limited time (what a stuff do people collect in just a few years)
But I am curious about the comments and grade you get from your thesis.

Our grades are on a scale from 1 to 5. 1 means you passed and 5 is the best grade. My thesis was graded 5.
My teacher said in the evaluation form, that overall, the thesis is good work. It has all the necessary parts, the language is correct and everything is clearly presented. She also highlighted the fact that there really isn’t former research done on the topic (at least available online), but I’ve still managed to find relevant sources and do all this.
However, she said that I could’ve described problems and limitations related to the research method and categorization in more detail. Also according to the evaluation form, the way I’ve presented everything in the paper could’ve also been a bit better, but I didn’t receive any specifics on what it refers to.

I’m very excited to share with fellow SW fans from the States that Turner Classic Movies is going to be airing Sergio Corbucci’s Il Grande Silenzio (The Great Silence) Tuesday night at 11:30 pm as part of their month long salute to the Essential Westerns for their Spotlight series. Don’t know if they’ll be showing it In the original Italian with English subs or the English dubbed version yet, but either way it’s exciitng they’re showing a non-Leone SW.
