Thanks Rev for voting.

And with that…Voting is now officially closed!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to vote, inductees will be announced New Years Day!

Cool and thanks again for coming up with this idea Colonel.

How many voted?

I think 21 or 22. I would like to have had more voters but not everyone I sent ballots to voted.

not a bad turnout - just like voting in republics/democracies not everyone exercises their right.

I didn’t vote because i feel i haven’t seen enough, but i do appreciate the Colonels work on this. Great idea.
I didn’t vote because i feel i haven’t seen enough, but i do appreciate the Colonels work on this. Great idea.
i felt the same way as spaghetti monkey. i’ve seen quite a lot of Sw’s but am no expert like a lot of you guys, but what i have seen i have enjoyed most of them. just didn’t feel i knew enough to do the voting justice especially in the lesser known categories.

I forgot to complete my list. Sorry.

(I don’t think it would’ve changed things drastically)

I never considered myself an expert but I felt voting would be interesting and it can’t hurt anything in the grand scheme of things.

That isn’t a bad turnout. I can’t wait to see the results! Also, to those who haven’t voted: There’s always next year!

I didn’t vote either, however it is indeed a great idea from the Colonel. For the same reasons, I don’t feel myself qualified enough at this point but I’ll work towards the list of 2010.

2010 inductees to be announced tommorow!!

Looking forward to this

Great news. It will indeed be interesting to see who got in and who didn’t!

Notes:

 1. If there was a tie in the voting I would include both so in some cases their are 6 and 11 inductees. Lee Van Cleef, Sergio Leone and Ennio Morrcone were the only unanimous votes.
 2. If you know any of these people please let them know they’ve been inducted.
 3. There is lots of overlap meaning, directors are also writers and so on, so in that case that a person qualified in more than one category on their plaque I would put the other roles as well but the one they were voted in for comes first. For example Enzo Barboni would be Cinematographer, Director, Writer.
 4. My vision is to have a page on the database devoted to the hall of fame. Instead of plaques I would have wanted posters. I’ve already made some: take a look.

I’ve only made some for actors and lead actors so far. Please if possible give me some high quality pics of the others so I can do wanted posters of the other inductees as well. For actresses preferably pictures of them in their actual SW roles. Of course I will need some help on this.

Congratulations to all the inductees!

Sample of the hall of fame “plaque”

Excellent work Frank. It’s a pity that Papi and Colombo didn’t get in, but still, there’s always next year!

I really like plaque’s you have designed; really nice work. I can’t wait to see it on the home page!

Damn good job Colonel.
